FREE SOE Long Range Clinic 24-27 Aug 2006

Hi Shooters,

SOE IS OFFERING A FREE LONG RANGE SHOOTING / TRACKING CLINIC FROM 24-27 AUG 2006. SOE HAS BEEN CONDUCTING TRAINING AND OPERATIONS AROUND THE WORLD SINCE 2001. SOE HAS BECOME MUCH MORE PUBLIC IN SINCE 2005 AND WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE THEIR UNIQUE ABILITIES AND METHODS TO THE LONG RANGE SHOOTING COMMUNITY.

TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED NEAR ARCO, IDAHO. HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE IN THE TOWN OF ARCO AT ONE OF THE SEVERAL HOTELS AVAILABLE.

SOE WILL OFFER FOR USE THE CHEYTAC ADVANCED BALLISTIC COMPUTER AS WE BELIEVE THIS IS THE MOST ADVANCED AND ACCURATE COMPUTER PROGRAM AVAILABLE FOR LONG RANGE SHOOTING. ANY PROGRAM THAT A SHOOTER WISHES TO BRING AND USE DURING THE COURSE OF FIRE IS FINE AND ENCOURAGED TO DO SO. BELOW IS THE PROPOSED TRAINING PLAN, BUT MAY CHANGE AS THE TRAINING PROGRESSES OR AS THE DATE APPROACHES. CLICK ON THE FREE TRAINING LINK TO SEE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS OFFER. THIS IS NO SCAM, NO A SALES PUSH, JUST A PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFER.

This will be a live fire symposium on extreme range shooting and the special considerations that must be given in that environment. As SOE’s shooting location is very similar to the operational environment in Afghanistan, the shooters will see the extremely harsh conditions that our military’s snipers must face to be successful.

Throughout the training, we will discuss various live shots that have occurred in the war on terror and examine the events for their training values in both successes and in failures.

Hello,

The cost is 0.00 for the shoot and the training. The rest of the cost; travel, food, lodging, ammo, etc. is up to you. 100-150 rounds is needed.

A spotting scope is the only major equipment requirement other than the rifle, ammo. You will be paired up, and it's likely we'd have enough spotting scopes. I have 2 Swarovskis available.
