Hi Len I hope you had a good breakfast. You know got your toast buttered right and all! LOL!

I really like your site. Sorry I came along when I did though! Bad timing I guess!

Again Thanks for telling me where to post this topic!

4ked Horn,
Well spoken, you have a wonder way of expressing what a lot of us feel. Same for Huntinfool, sure nice to see some courteous remarks about controvercial topics.
Way I see it, this is only a bunch of words on a screen, it ain' t the end of the world. This site may or may not give me something to think about, some equipment or technique to try in my shooting or some really enjoyable reading about what others with my interests experience.

Just hate to think of Len getting all greasy fingered in the morning

Roper said: "where I live you have to be able to shoulder the rifle other wise we have guys with 50 cal on bipods."

And I ask what would be wrong with that?

Re: Extreme Long Range Hunting

Huntinfool
Are you hunting in a grown up strip mine, the reason I ask is we long range hunt deer in old strip mines in Pa? Our longest kill to date is 1100 yds and we have many kills from 500 to 800 yds. Which one are you in the picture?
