Enfield 03 sporter $
My Dad after buying a new gun has decited to sell his old Enfield 30-06 that was sporterized back before he bought it.
He was thinking about trading it for a differant scope for his new gun.
All I know is back about 15 years ago he paid 325.00 with a scope.
I told him I would take it down to the local gunshop and see if they are willing to trade.
However I have my doubts about anyone wanting a sport. version of the Enfield.
Does anyone think I am wrong? If so, what do you all think is a fair price? (rough guess)
It is currently in a wood flat bottom hunting style stock,has a Timmney adjustable trigger and has had all the stock sights removed.(looks to be done by someone who knew what they were doing?)The bolt is still cock on close style. and from what I can tell the metal all looks good.
I am used to the newer stuff so any help would be appreciated!!
