Gentlemen, I could not help but think of you all as I watched the news about the horrible fires you are suffering. I hope this finds you all well and unscathed. If you can, please let us know if you are all right. Thinking of you and hoping the best for you.....................

The day was like being in hell. We survived but many were not so lucky. 170 at todays count.

Fires raged all about my my area, day turned to night with smoke and ash embers. It was 118 degrees F with howling winds. I posted some pictures in the Australian section of this forum but they cannot describe the conditions.

My farm got burnt out two years ago but this day was far worse than that.

Horror stories are being told by everyone close to the fires that survived.

Hi thanks for yourbconcern within 1 mile of my house and 400 yardsbof the workshop at mmy mates house.

Helped out as much as I could and saved some houses and a shopping complex but I am glad I am ok and my friends survived.

over 200 gone now and more than 300 are expected to be gone.
