Deer harvest Limit raised without much notice to public

South Carolina has had a deer a day policy in the low country for years now. North Carolina has allowed two deer a day until your 6 tags were used up. Last year a change was passed and very few people have been informed about it. In North Carolina now after you have filled your 6 deer tags that come with your big game license you can return to a wildlife cooperator agent and get two more doe tags. After you fill those tags one can return and get another doe tag. When you fill that tag you can go back and get another tag per day.
Yes, our season has gotten more liberal. The deer population and urban sprawl are clashing big time. It is said 1 in ever 25 car accidents in North carolina involves a deer.
