Converting Inches to MOA ???????

Okay I'm sure folks have asked this question over and over but it would be very helpful if someone could help me out or direct me to a thread that has this info.

Just a question or two would help .

1. I shot at 600 yards and say for an example I am 8 Inches low how and what would the Moa equal . Can you show me the math ?

2. At say 800 yards I am 3 1/2 Inches high what would that be in MOA and how would you get it (math) can you show me ?

I dont mind to read some literature but if you want to teach me heres your chance

I am 99% sure this is how.

1.0472 x 6 = 6.2832
8" divided by 6.2832 = 1.2732365 or just 1.2732 MOA

1.0472 x 8 = 8.3776
3.5" divided by 8.3776 = .4177807 or just .4177 MOA
