The biggest news up here today is that the Canadian Federal government is going to confiscate our handguns and prohibited guns.

Didn't know you guys had handguns. My Canadian bear outfitter told me that he couldn't get one. His sole source of defense against a bear attack was the double bladed axe which he carried religiously.

Sad news mate, the problem is these government ministers, even though they are supposed to be your representatives once they have got together and decided that this sort of legislation is good for the people, no amount of lobbying, petitions or complaining will change their mind.
You only need to look here at the UK?????

Yes we can get handguns up here. But we are restricted to firing them at a registered range. I hope the Liberals don't get back in power but it is looking like they will right now.
