Cabot Guns 1911

Thought I'd throw this up for you guys.
A new 1911 in the world of handguns. I happen to be know the guy who headed up a lot of the R&D for this gun....my dad.
They will be on display at the NRA Show in Pittsburgh starting tomorrow!

Re: Cabot Guns 1911

Awesome looking 1911's I am a big fan of the 1911 and have 4 Kimber's that I use for concealed carry. I'm not in the market for any more 1911's right now..... I have about 6 or 7 others besides the Kimber's. Those sure look like the fine performance handgun I am sure they are. Do you have any plans to introduce a 3" barrel version in the future? I am a carry guy not a competition shooter and the classic 5" model is a bit long for carry.

Re: Cabot Guns 1911

I'm not sure what their plans are for future model production. I know that personally, I would like to see a compact 1911 from them!

Just to be clear, I am in no way involved with the design or production of these 1911s. I was just sharing the link to the website to show everyone a new brand of 1911. If anyone has any questions, their best bet is to get in contact with Cabot Guns. I don't want to be a middle man and risk passing along potentially inaccurate information.

Beautiful guns I to am a big fan of 1911s use them for CC ill be sure to cheek them out tomorrow.
But that asking price is through the roof no way in hell would I pay close to 5k for a 1911 or any handgun for that matter unless its a death ray I can do 2k max.

Re: Cabot Guns 1911

I see the price for maybe the really nice model. The market might be a little tight with Ed Brown, Wilson, Nighthawk and a few others. I don't get the GI model for $4300....... missing something? I realize it's not the standard casting kind of gun but heck.... It cost more than a wilson tactical.
