Butt Pad On Sendero
How do you remove the butt pad on a SF Sendero? Can't find any screw slits.

Re: Butt Pad On Sendero
Judging by the amount of cussing my gunsmith did when he had to put an adjustable buttplate on my gun, I think they are glued on. Good luck.

Maybe it's Stihl time. I guess that's an indication you should glue the replacement on too.

Re: Butt Pad On Sendero
Actually, if I recall correctly, the fellow used some bedding compound or JB Weld or something similar and filled in some areas where the screws would normally go, and then drilled and tapped the stuff and mounted the replacement buttpad 'normally'.
