Bugling Kept Me Awake Last Night (yawn..)

Couldn't sleep last night. Elk bugling kept awakening me.

Click on Find Me on the Map.. They were near the center of the Packman center pivot sprinkler just a little south and east of my place.

They will be along the river for the duration of the rut or until they start getting poached. Then will be back if there is a heavy snow in the hills.

Come and get 'em

Wish we had that problem here in Illinois. Only thing that wakes me up is some teenage sh**head smashing my mailbox in the middle of the night!

Look me up on the map, they are here year around.........

Roy, you make me jelous!;)

I found some old blasting caps while cleaning the garage. You can duct tape them to your mailbox.

Hey Roy, I'll trade you. Our 3 year old had me up at 4:30 with his coughing.

Cheers

Been there and done that. After bunking under @2 arresting gear on the Big E for a spell, 7 kids and 10 grandkids I gotta tennis elbow from bumping my wife to get up and take care of things - and never woke up while doing it.

Those elk are a maybe a 1/2 mile away with neighborhood dogs barking in between. But I can still hear them in my sleep. You can guess what's important to me this time of year.
