It's hard to believe people would really do that but, many years back, a barber that cut my hair went wood cutting with his 2 sons. They tried to fall a dead snag but it hung up on them so he decided to pull it down with the truck.

A truck with a 20' chain trying to pull a 40' snag down proved to be a disaster. The snag fell on the truck and killed him instantly. The family suffered tremendously because of their mistake.

Hopefully the driver wasn't hurt in this video. They looked into the truck but never showed if anyone was hurt.

What did that guy think was going to happen???
Dick that is a tragic story, sorry to hear that. The driver in this video seemed ok. The steering wheel was on the other side of the truck, and the driver got out and walked around the tree to the camera side of the truck. He's the guy with the hat.

It's funny all right. Yes tragic things can happen from otherwise humorous events. The funny part is that the yard full of people did not see this coming. The fascination is that we as normal thinking folk can predict the outcome within the first 2 seconds of the video but we still watch the whole thing. I'm surprised we have not seen this on funniest home videos yet.
