Bear Stealing a Deer
There is a forum that has a lot of hunters from Idaho and I visit it from time to time.
Here is a video that a member posted of a Kodiak bear stealing the deer he shot (not in Idaho). This is supposedly true.
What I find impressive is the neck strenght of the bear.

Re: Bear Stealing a Deer
Years ago I saw a still photo of a brown bear standing upright on its hind legs holding a cow moose in its jaws. All species of bear seem to have extraordinary strength.

Man, He picked up that deer easier than I could pick up a beer and a bag of peanuts.....almost.
