Re: accumark

That will be easy. Now, how do you like your loads? Fast and flat as in 3500+ fps or slow and steady? We are working on the middle ground with the 225 grain bullets at the moment. When we get something that is really tight I will sound off.

Hired Gun

Those are the most hideous looking guns I have ever seen who did you say makes them?? They probably don’t shot any better than they look. Just kidding I love my AccuMarks

Re: accumark

Mostly looking for a good accurate load. It will mostly be used for deer so the fast and flat would probably be best. If you have any experience with good shooting loads out of the accumark I would like to know. I know mine wont shoot the same but would still like some suggestions. Thanks

Re: accumark

Screech,
I just have to ask, did a deer do something bad to you when you were young? Why the cannon for just a deer?

Re: accumark

Just for fun. I've shot them with lots of calibers from .243 to 300rum in the past. I shot one last year with it but I'm hoping for some better accuracy. Thanks

Re: accumark

I know what you mean about shooting the big gun for fun. My cousin shoots deer with a 375 Wby.

Here is 3 shots rapid fire from my Accumark in 257Wby. Don't forget to subtract .257 from the reading on the caliper to see the real group size. Sorry the pic is so big.
