Yes it was a good time. Although the coyotes were hunkered down somewhere, it was a good night none-the-less. For those that don't understand these habits of us nordern folk, our coyotes don't seem to respond as well in the daytime, or at least not 'properly'. I've called them in daylight, but it was always in thicker cover and a 12ga with #4 buck is the proper armament. Called in the night, and they'll run across open fields with fervor trying to get to you. Add a full moon and snow cover and you have a fun night. We'll have to get Len out there again to experience the coyote part of it, but he got a good taste of the moon, cold, and snow on this one!
