Abominable Snowmen Spotted In SW Wisconsin

What a scary sight!

I joined Jim See of Centershot Rifles and Matt Salm for a moonlit coyote hunt this past Saturday night.

Jim: "Coyote - Stop the truck!" -screeeeeech.

Len: "Jim, that looks like a border collie to me."

Jim: "Oh..."

The conditions didn't cooperate, though, so the coyotes were safe. It was about zero degrees and the snow was deep with a crust under the surface making an inhospitable terrain for the coyotes.

Either that or they were scared to death by the Abominable Snowmen!

Nonetheless, we had a good time. Matt and Jim are two great guys to spend time with. That is the full moon in the background.

It was my pleasure sharing the hunt with you Len.

Although we could not find a coyote either stupid, or hungry enough to come to our calls, it was a very good time.

We hunted some places that Matt had gotten permission for, near his place. Thanks Matt.

Len, I went to the clinic with a couple sick kids today and after returning home and then heading to the shop, I see somthing comming across the field, two red fox on a mission. They crossed the highway right behind my vehicle..... And I'm POSITIVE these were really red fox...

The root word for the derivation of the word "lunatic" is the part that has to do with "luna". It is unclear exactly why the full moon causes grown men to wander around in the night doing peculiar things.

I guess hunting coyotes is better than turning into a werewolf and terrorizing the local villagers.
