6.5mm hunting bullets

Has anyone had any experience with good shooting .264 hunting bullets. My gun likes the 139 gr. lapua's and 142 gr. matchking's.I would like a bullet in this range for 150# whitetails out to 500 yards.accuracy is a must but bullet performance is critical also. thanks timbo

Give the Sierra 140 gr BTSP a serious look. I loaded these in my Dad's 260 IMP for fireforming loads. .5 MOA 5-shot groups. Good enough to shoot 500 yard F-Class matches with.

I've used the 129 SST with good results on elk out to 400 yds., and bighorn @ about 300, and the 140 A-Max on a goat @ 325. But these r out of an XP-100 hangun with a 16" barrel.
