Norma-300-WSM-brass;-they-are-measuring-right-at-.335-so
it-want-be-to-bad-to-turn-down-to-.331-for-over-all-fit.
I-am-going-to-have-the-barrel-throated-for-the-125grn
Nosler-Ballistic-Tip-just-as-Richard-recommends.-I-am
also-going-to-use-Vhitivoria-N550-Powder.-From-what
I-have-been-reading-this-set-up-is-laser-accurate-out
and-destructive-on-varmints-out-to-1000-yards.-I-am
looking-forward-to-putting-this-one-togather.-It-will
be-one-of-those-rifles-that-no-one-has.-The-Nosler
125grn-Ballistic-Tip-has-a-BC-of-.366-and
traveling-at-over-4000-fps-it-will-be-awesome-out-to-1000
yards.-Once-again;-we-don't-have-that-much-wind-where
I-shoot-so-wind-wont-be-a-problem.-Anyhow;-it-will-be
different-from-the-norm;-and-I-know-it-is-going-to-
be-fast-and-accurate.-I-went-with-a-1-15-twist-barrel;-that
is-what-Richard-recommended-for-this-type-of-project.

Why not kick it up a notch to the 300RUM? I just can't warm up to those goofy short mags.

FWIW, I shoot 150 grain 0.308 AccuBonds from a 1:14 twist at about 3150 fps and have no problems with twist.

Thats good to know. I have heard I will be able to shoot bullets up to 155grns if need be.

Hired gun, I thought about going with the 300 RUM. Here are the reasons I did not go with the 300RUM;
1. No good brass for 300RUM
2. To much recoil
3. The smaller .30cal bullets are working better out of the 300-WSM.
