Would You Use a 280 AI For Elk

LTLR i know you are a huge fan of CE bullets but what do you think about Barnes's bullets.

I shoot bullets by every manufacturer. I am a big fan of the Barnes ttsx type bullets. The new 7mm 168 grain they introduced at the shot show this year is a great bullet with a bc higher than listed. It would make the 280 AI or any 7mm lethal on anything in North America. I got some of the first ones from Barnes direct and they shoot great. It will prove to be a great hunting bullet this season when a few critters start to fall with it.

I dont know what load you are shooting but by 280 drops below 1000lbs at 1200 yards shooting 168 bergers at 2900 fps. I would have to shoot them 2000 fps to be below 1000flbs at 450. I have killed a few elk with mine and it will be fine at 600.
