Who makes Rem 700 Sendero an PSS Barrels ?

I was talking to an man that was telling me that Rem 700 , PSS , Sendero Barrels was comtracted out to Hart Barrels an they made all of them for Rem .

Is this true ?

Can you help ?

I'm not sure who makes them, but I'd bet a lot of money that it's not Hart. Just my two cents.

When Remingtion first went to stainless barrels for thier
Magnums they did not have the experience with stainless
so they contracted HART to make them.

Now I'm not sure if anyone makes them for Remingtion.

"BUT" If you look at the proff marks on the barrel there
will be the symboll of a hart if it is a HART barrel, if not
I assume it's a Remingtion barrel made in house.

I have seen quite a few early Remingtions in 7mmRM,300
Win Mag,300 Weatherby mag and 40x target 308s and 30/338
that were Harts.

if they are farming out for barrels I would say that it would be Douglas or ER Shaw at best , I have seen only one factory Remington , a 40x , that had a Hart barrel the rest seem to be all ahmmer forged , I say this due to their fouling "abilities"

I have an older 308 that has one of the origional 5R barrels that remington supplied , not sure who made it but its very well made , I have seen one of the newer ones and the quality is nowhere near as good so I assume that they have found a way to make them inhouse
