Who makes a good bullet

Who makes a good long range hunting bullet for in .277 I am looking for a 160+ It looks like I may have to settle for a 140 or 150. I like the 140 AB but out of a 270wsm it would be nice to have a little more lead.

Re: Who makes a good bullet

Did Wildcat Bullets ever get cranked up and going again?

They had a 169gr .277

Re: Who makes a good bullet

Matrix Ballistics is who you need to look into. I've been running the 165 gr with outstanding results, running them 3053 without maxing out and a BC of .650ish. They also have a 175 but they need a little faster than 1-10 twist.
I'm awaiting the 169.5 Wildcat bullets but I've heard they are also good.

Will the 165 Matrix stabilize in a 1:10" barrel from a 270 Win?
