whats better dtacs or berger.

Ive been looking and researching a littel, but i cant figure out witch bullet would be better at say 3100 fps. Both are 115 grain, any ideas?

I would expect the berger to be more consistent out of most barrels but......there latest 105s have comparable bc . Dtacs have more limited availability and are only available threw a couple sources. When available they are cheeper. True performance will likely come down barrel's preference. No question the bergers will be shinier

Are you shooting a 6mmBR? If so, you need a fast twist barrel, about 1-7" or 7 1/2". I never had D Tacs, but found the Berger 115 would not shoot in my custom 6BR barrel. They do have a high BC.

I've used both, through my 6XC. My rifle shows no preference. Let the barrel pick the bullet it likes best.

I belive my barrel is 7.5 and 28 inches cut rifle... mabey i should look at the new 105 berger hybrid.
