Whats the best bang for the buck?

Im looking to get a .223 to go along with my 17hmr for hunting. My ruger 17hmr is a nice rifle but limited out to 200 yards. Which rifle would be good for 300+ for under 600. Also going to put a Leupold 4x12 on it.

Look at Savage Arms. Great, accurate guns at a good price. I have a 110FP in .25-06 with the Accu Trigger and I love it.

well ended up buying a remington 700 BDL .223 and put a Nikon 6.5x18 44mm scope on it. now just have to try it out [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
