Re: What is the speed of sound in fps?

    Crow Mag,
At sealevel using STP I beleive it's 1120.??fps.
For 800ft it should be 1115.28 fps and at 6000ft altitude it should be around 1093.27 fps if I calculated it correctly. Now under actual firing conditions that most definitely will change because of different variables used above. It's not a constant.
