what neck for a 6mmx284

i am going to build a 6mmx284 and do not want to turn necks what neck size do i need?
is there a difference in the brass i use? (lapua,norma or wiinchester)
is there a differance between a shehane reamer and a regular one ?

My Lapua 6.5-284 has a neck thickness of .015 so I would think you would want at least a .277 (.243+.030 [.015 on ea. side]+.004 clearance) neck to avoid having to turn them. But I'm just guesstimating here not certain.

I don't know about other brass or the reamer difference.

Just tell your smith you want a standard chamber. As for brass try Win or Lapua.

loaded brass measures .275 in lapua brass.
