2 grains, right?

No, really, is one a tangent ogive and the other a secant ogive or something like that?

Do they shoot that much different from each other?

How fragile are they, about the same as a 140 AMAX?

the bc listed for the 140 is .535
the bc listed for the 142 is .595

the 142 is a much better choice for 1000 yard shooting, I do not know, maybe from 100 to 500 or 600 yards they may perform very closely. They have good strong jackets.

When you say good strong jackets, you mean they are much stronger than the 140 AMAX?

Would punch a hole in thin skinned game for example?

As opposed to expanding and doing significant damage.

I understand they are match bullets, just curious ...

Doug, I do not have answers for your questions, I only have used them for target application. I would suspect pretty fast expansion and defragmentation, but that is speculation on my part. I would expect the same from the Amax as well but no first hand experience to back it up. Good luck, Ron Tilley
