What bullets will my 1-10" 6mm Ackley stabilize?

What are the heaviest/highest BC bullets my 1-10" 6mm Ackley will stabilize? I would like to buy bullets to work up loads with that will for sure work.

    Tyler,

You will be able to shoot bullets from 70grns up to 107grns. Try the 87grn V-Max out of your 6MM AI, it's awesome on varmints.

    Good Luck.

Alot depends on your altitude and shooting temps. But anything over the 95 Berger is marginal, if stable, from 10twist.

Wildcat, when you say 107 grain are you talking the VLD or SMK type? I don't want to buy 100 bullets to fireform and test with only to find I'm shooting sideways holes in the target.

I will be shooting in Missouri and in temps from 10-100.

The 105grn Lapua Scenar and the Sierria 107grn SMK seem to work fine in a 10 twist barrel. However, all barrels are different. I would use the 87grn V-Max for fireforming.

The 95 Berger has a very short bearing surface and does not like to jump to the lands so if you cannot get it jammed it will not stabilize in a 1-10 even at speed faster than you will be able to generate in my experience.
