Thanks. I have an ultrasonic cleaner and appreciate your effort and time to test some products. Maybe now I'll start using the thing!

Re: Ultrasonic Case Cleaning Made Easy

Dave,
When you get that cleaner going I will send a 55 gallon drum of .308 Win. brass that needs cleaning - OK, good buddy
Maybe you could send them back loaded, 45 grains of Varget with your choice of 175 hollow point boat tail, Winchester primers if you don't mind...

Interested to hear how you do with the sonic cleaning, where did you get your sonic machine, how much $.

That is a very interesting article, well written and good photo support. I hate tumbling brass, about as much as I hate preping it.

Re: Ultrasonic Case Cleaning Made Easy

I have two ultrasonic cleaning units. they're the way to go if you want the inside cleaned out and the primer pockets. I clean everything from .30-.378 to .40 rounds. The brass comes out like you just took it off the shelf. Also if you have fine gears for fishing reels or the likes its also the way to go.

Take care Aaron

Re: Ultrasonic Case Cleaning Made Easy

JB,
I was glad to read your article. I have them at work and gave up on them, after trying it on some filthy 50BMG brass.
I'll try your solutions.
