What twist rate would you order in these calibers?

What bullets and weight of buletts are you leaning towards and what are you using the rifle for, hunting (What distance are you confident too), paper punching etc.

1 in 9 would cover everything up to the 180g VLD. pretty much sums it up...

Application will be long range paper punching and deer to 500 yards. I am not that familiar with the 7mm, but the berger vld seem to cross over between hunting and target shooting rather nicely, using the 180s with their high BCs.

A 1:9 will certainly let you shoot any heavy bullet up to the Berger 180, and possibly the Wildcat 200 (not sure about that one though). I'm running a 9 in my 7WSM and with a light load (2,825 fps) it still stablized the Berger 180s in the thick air of Houston Texas.
