if you want a bullet that will hold up to that, try the trophy bonded bear claw by speer.

i agree with JD, a 180 bal tip will hammer any 150 lb deer no matter where you shoot it.i would be surprized if it didn't shoot more accuratly also.

Also consider the 165gr SST and interbonds. Usually very accurate and a reliable performer at the velocities and distance you plan on shooting.
