Shouldn't be a problem. Which round are you talking about?

I shoot a 200gr Accubond out of a 300WM with a 1:10 twist with no problem at all.

Re: Twist Rate

Wingman,
Might work up some 150 Accubonds for my .300WM.They would be very flat shooting and if I can get .5" accuracy,I will try them on our small whitetails(150lbs.).

They will definitely start out flatter shooting than the 180's or 200's, BUT they will run out of steam a lot quicker also. For shooting longer distances the heavier bullets really shine.

Winmagnum,
Sorry for missing your "handle"on the last post.Yes,I know the heavier bullets are better at the longer ranges.Where I hunt 350 yds.will be the max.No place on the lease is there a legit shot any longer. Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: Twist Rate

If you deer are so small why are you shooting such a strong bullet ? just courious. But for the twist rate you should be able to shoot all the way up to 200gr bullets with a 1-10 twist.
Personaly i have found the 180gr Ballistic tips to be more accurate out of my 30 mags and being that their so much longer and going a little slower they don't blow up as bad

Re: Twist Rate

JDJones,
Thought that I might need a good strong bullet since I like a high shoulder shot.I want a bullet capable of breaking both shoulders and exiting.
