Turning a .308" barrel into a .338" barrel.

Is it possible? Can a barrel maker punch a 308 barrel out to a 338 barrel?

Would it save time vs ordering a new one? Whould it cost just as much?

Just buy a blank and have it installed.

Your barrel can be rebored. I've talked with a couple of guys who have done it & was told that I shouldn't expect miracles from reboring. Their accuracy was about par with original factory barrels, definitely not match grade. I quoted a rebore once & it was around $200.00, as i recall. I passed on it.
