Trying speer deep curl

I've decided to try speer's deep curl 150gr in my 270 for whitetails this year. The 270 I have is my walking around medium range gun, and I want to shoot some affordable bullets. The base of these bullets are actually concave and not flat base. I'm hoping to recover one and see how they perform. Any one else used them yet? I'm not sure how long they have been out.
