Too good to be true: Bergers

I knew my numbers were too good to be true. I couldn't put my finger on it but there was no way that the #'s from my ballistic software on my Iphone could be correct.

Checked Xbal and JBM. Still couldn't get everything to jive.

Finally went the the berger web site.

FYI the BC on the box is for G1 and not G7. If you put the G1 # in a program and the run it with the G7BC you get unbelievable velocitys and energy down range. Too good to be true.

I'm sure I'm not the only dumbarse that has done this, just the only one stupid enought to admit it.

Re: Too good to be true: Bergers

I haven't seen any of the labels with G7 BC's yet, but I'm pretty sure they'll be designated specifically as G7. For example:
G1 BC = X
G7 BC = Y

When only one BC is given, it can be assumed to be a G1 BC.

The good news is that if you use the wrong one in a trajectory prediction, the results are usually so wrong it's obvious, triggering the BS flag and further investigation.
