tipped or no tip ?

For large game animal such as elk in ranges under 500 yards. Hollow point bullet or tipped bullet ?

    Seems that everyone assumes a tipped bullet expands better. I've never seen any evidence to support that idea. Under 500 yds I'd probably take a TSX over a TTSX.
