Tikka T3 Varmint .243 - where can I get one?

They are listed on Tikka's website but not on Beretta USA's site - at least not in a .243. Any idea how I could get one?

Not sure if you have a Sportsman Warehouse close to you, but I would start there. If we knew where you are located that would help. One other place to look is the GunBroker.com auction web site.

Tikka makes them, but Beretta doesn't import them. So places that normally stock Tikka's only have the varmint model in a 223, 22-250, and a 309. Is there a way around this?

Seems Tikka discontinued the SS/Varmint series in the States...I got one of the last 223 SS Varmints I knew of...8 twist too.....

I have a 30-06 Tikka T3 Stainless here in Australia, when I re-emmigrate back to the United States I plan on bringing it back with me.

But we are going to rebarrel it to 6.5x284 and 6mm BR.

Right now I shoot F-Class with it and do a bit of long range hunting.

With 190 Sierras, 168 Bergers, and 185 Bergers it is a half inch rifle at 100 meters.

Plan is to whitness mark the 30-06 tube so I can use it again later.

Too bad Beretta USA sucks!

Good news!

Talk to Alex at Euro Optics, even though Beretta USA is full of idiots, they finally saw the light enough to let Alex order whatever he wants from Sako and Tikka lines.

So now Alex can order anything. Give him a call and let him know what you want.

I e-mailed Euro Optics yesterday re: ordering A Tikka Varmint in .243. Their reply (Seth) was that they are unavailable in the U.S. The same goes for the .260. Their only offerings are in 223 & 22-250. I don't quite understand why you can get these rifles almost anywhere else in the world but not in the U.S. Anyway, they suggested the Sako Varmint @ $1800.00. Maybe I should have talked to Alex but I don't think the answer is going to be any different.
