All wieghts are in grams. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. The wieghts are all holding tight. I have way too much free time on my hands. Thought you might find this interesting.

I think I have the same problem (tto much time). I figured the SD's for all three lots of bullets and to better compare I've figured the % of average of the SD. Here goes (my math may be fuzzy but they are all figured in the same manner)....

220 grain SMK

AVG= 14.276 g.
SD= .0102 g.
%SD= .071448
-------------
52 grain SMK

AVG= 3.375 g.
SD= .0026 g.
%SD= .077037
-------------
52 grain AMAX

AVG= 3.378 g.
SD= .0055 g.
%SD= .162818

Looks like the Sierras are more than twice as considtent as the AMAXes. OK...back to cleaning the garage!!!!!

small differences in weight do not affect bullet flight near as much as small differences in ogive to base distance, and the squareness of the base to the major diameter cylinder, and point concentricity to the maj.dia. cylinder.
