I understand that the sendero's are shooters. I own both the 300 and 7 rum but in BDL and LSS config. I think the 300 is a little more versatile but the 7 is easier to shoot from "all" field positions for me. Long range guys like to use muzzle brakes
. For every day hunting I don't care for brakes as I don't like to wear ear prot. while stalking around. With the sendero the added weight should make that a moot point as recoil will be manageable. They both shoot fast and hit hard. The 300 seems to hit harder. I think picking out a well put together sendero and fitting it with a proper good scope will be more important that your choice of the 7 or 300. Hope the one you end up with is a real good shooter.
