Savage Barrel Replacement

I have a Savage Model 11 243 and I would like to replace the 22" pencil barrel with a heavier 26" barrel. Who are some of the best barrel makers with the pre-chambered screw on barrels?
Thanks!

Re: Savage Barrel Replacement

I changed pencil barrel from model 11 Savage to 26" heavy varmint barrel by Criterion Criterion Barrels, Inc. and I absolutely love it, it can make head shot on grasshopper 100 yards away, I also changed barrel on my 12 LRPV great result vs factory Savage barrel Savage LRPV Saga — When A Barrel Upgrade Is The Only Solution Daily Bulletin

Re: Savage Barrel Replacement

One of our Sponsors "SIN Arms" makes prefit Savage barrels as well. I'm awaiting a quote from him right now. I've also heard good things about the Criterion but have never shot one.
