What do you want to do with it? That alone will help us pick a bullet. H1000 and retumbo are the go-to powders, Lapua brass is the best so use that for sure, and for primers I use fed 215 gm, i dont know what model cci primers people have had sucess with in this caliber. i shoot 280 grain Barnes LRX bullets on top of retumbo in Lapua brass lit with fed 215 gm.

If your looking for a long ranger ive been using 300 bergers ,h1000 and federal 215 gm with great success out of my BA.
My dear boy if 5 miles away they don't sit up in their beds and ask what the HELL was that, the gun is not big enough!

An interesting aside, Sierra don't recommend 300 grain SMK's (338 caliber) in rifles with the twist rate of the 11-111 series.

I load 250 SMK's with H1000 in Lapua Brass with Federal primers.
