I got a big envelope from the Accurate Powder folks yesterday, and saw the round in the load data. For the life of me I could not connect it with anything! I did find a drawing of it in metric deminsions, and the case is dead strait! At 7.95mm (.312"), and is actually 28.9mm long (1.137" long). Might be interesting necked down to 14 or 17 caliber. Nothing like it in fact. This is one of the most underrated rounds out there. Especially as a pistol round where you can get 2500 fps plus with some of its rounds. It is just getting into the varmint realm of use as a cartridge. Really love this round. It performs much better than HK's foray into this type of pdw round which is the 4.6x30. In the subsonic realm, it is even better, if you fancy rolling up on a town with a suppressor. I can't overrate this round as a prairie dog killer.
