Just looking for opinions on this new rifle from savage... I say new because the 2009 model has a few key differences than the older 10fp model. The list of features is impressive for the money and it seems perfectly suited to LR hunting amongst other things. What i havnt found is any test reports of any sort regarding this rifle???
But for around 700bux (street price) you get the accustock aluminium bedding system, a heavy fluted barrel,
muzzle brake, trigger user ajustable down to 1.5lbs, free floating bolt head, and of course the savage action to build on later if you so desire a custom rig...
Seems like a winner to me, does anyone have one? if so, what sort of groups have you shot with it in factory trim?
