SAKO TRG-S - Cant put on a suppressor

I recently bought a SAKO TRG-S in 338 Lapua, when I took it to a shop that does suppressors they told me they cannot do it because the barrel is to thin I should go for a muzzle break
Has anybody out there experienced this or suggest a suppressor that may work?

what kind of supressor you looking at, i can't see why a telescopic over the barrel supressor can't be installed. whats the diameter of the end of your barrel? i wouldn't want to go much below an M15x1 thread in a 338. but 15mm isn't particularly fat barrel..
