Ruger drops 6.5 Creedmoor
According to a poster on the 6.5 Creedmoor Forum, Ruger has stopped production of rifles in that caliber due to poor sales. Ruger was quoted by him that "What's out there is out there". I surely hope that this is not the beginning of the end of this fine round.

Not supprised in the least, it didnt offer anything you could not get in the 260rem. I never saw it taking off nor do I see the RCMs going very far.

1+ I must agree. This or the 6.5mm Grendel. To much "purpose" built to appeal to the masses.

well I have 300 factory rounds in the 120gr GMX, guess I will save brass as I shoot

I dont know about the Grendal it offers alot in a small package and now that it has SAMMI approval it may take off. It suffers from the same handi cap the 6.8spc does however. That is there are better chambers for the same round ie the 6.5LBC exact same round barrels have diffrent chamber. The Grendal was designed around the AR system.
