I mentioned this in another post. I have talked to a few guys that have built on both actions and both had the same thing to say about the Stiller "their not what I expected" they both say the money is better spent with the Lawton. Now I have never personaly held worked on or even got a good look at either of the two but these comments come from to very well trusted guys that build some fine rifles.

I have fondeled a Surgen actioned rifle and can attest to their quality. Its a fine action if your willing to spend a few more dollars.

I wish I could find a way to get around the whole FFL thing and have Lockheed buy a few actions as "Tooling" , I'm sure that they would never even notice , the dick brained enginers we have are clueless as to what a tool or gun is!!
