Remingtion is just a churched up Busmaster. I would never buy one but I'm sure its fine for the hunting application you intend it for.

The same company that owns Remington owns several others, like Bushmaster and DPMS. I have an R25 that was built by DPMS. I wouldn't have gotten it if I didn't get such a good deal. I would have never paid the $1600 I see them going for. Mine shoots MOA with some rounds but I really haven't had the time to work up what it likes. Not the accuracy I expect for that amount of money no matter what it is. Lucky I got mine for almost half price, so far I got what I paid for. I have to say that the barrel on it fouls faster then any I've seen.
