the fed brass is a little heaver and the volume is almost the same the fed brass full to the top will hold 108.1 gr of retumbo and the rem case holds 108.8 on average I get 42 round per bag that are the same weight which on average is 282.5 per case with the rem brass I'm lucky if I get 30 rounds per bag and they average 279.6 per case

Re: Remington Braas Quality or Lack of ?

I agree on FC brass. I don't have an ultra mag, but I have read a lot of reviews on Fed brass being too soft. I have always had to trim it after every 2 firings so I guess that goes along with that assessment. However, Some of the most accurate loads I have found in my standard calibers have been with federal brass. trimming sucks, but I like my holes as close together as possible, and I will do what I have too to get them that way. Often I cannot justify the cost of Lapua but it is top notch stuff no doubt. I have fired enough of it to at least have a healthy appreciation for what all brass SHOULD be.

To one and all,

Appreciate the comments/requests, and yes, I'm more than happy to pass them along to the Finns. They DO listen, and try to accomodate things for the US market. Not promising anything, and it'd be a long time down the road before anything would materialze.

Have some other very intersting stuff in the works, though, that you guys should find very interesting.

Stay tuned.

Kevin, if it would help, we could probably get a petition going. I'm sure we would get a very good response.
