I have now posted a collage of pics for my rifle setup for those of you who are interested, and this is at the same link at the bottom of the page.

Also, here is my best group so far (haven't shot it a lot yet as weather s***s).
Shot on right was 1st, then scope was adjusted and a 3-shot group was fired.

0.208" 3-shot group.

Thanks for the review! When it warms up I have intentions of doing a couple as well. It looks cool. That scope really sets the whole gun off! What is your opinion on the effectivness of that break?

Good shootin too. You missed the quarter 4x though

Just checked out you site too. Seems like you miss the quarters alot

, but you sure put a hurtin on the PDs. What kind of bullets are you using on the PDs?

How was the recoil on your new rifle using the ported barrel?

What would you compare it to?

I'm not surprised by the accuracy, I've seen two others do the same thing.

I'm using 52gr Speer HPs out of the 22-250, and 178gr AMAXs out of the 308, and 50gr VMAXs out of the 222. I'll have some more reviews out this summer though.

By the way, I seem to flinch really bad when the crosshairs hit the quarter though lol.

Recoil reduction wasn't really astounding, but muzzle flip was reduced. The sound has a little bit more "slap" to it, but no major "boom". I put the Rem SuperCell recoil pad on it, and that made the most difference in recoil. With the combo of the 2, the gun hardly kicks at all, and that is using 178gr and 180gr bullets. The recoil feels more like a light 243 load.

I just read somewhere that all this (type of?) muzzle break is supposed to do is reduce muzzle flip. If so, it does a great job.
