recommend rings and bases

What are the recommended rings and bases that will hold up to a un-braked .300rum. I do not want a 20MOA base, just a regular one.

Re: recommend rings and bases

I use burris mts. and "z" rings on mine. the z rings come with inserts that will get you and additional 18 MOA on 30mm, and 30MOA on 1" rings.

Re: recommend rings and bases

Richard Near make one of the best rail and ring set ups. I use Alphahunters on my 340 ,300 and 7mm Weatherbys. Use his rail and rings on my 338 Edge.
Check his web site out richard near.com

There are quite a few options. I always prefer a one-piece base and I try to keep my base and rings as light as possible. So I use Seekins Precision for most of my rifles, since they're machined from 7075 grade aluminum.

I agree with Seekins, top quality, light, and reasonably priced!
