Rechambering a 30.06
Just out of curiosity, what calibre's could I rechamber a 30.06 to?

30-06 Ackley (barrel has to be set back)
30 Gibbs
300Win mag, and most other 30cal mags
It would be a good idea to set the barrel back a half inch or so reguardless to help clean up the throat if its been shot alot.

The Gibbs is a good cartridge. Mine is built in a M98 action, 26" Shilen w/ lots of other goodies. It's cranking 165gr Hornady Interlocks at 3100fps using RL-22.
