I keep reading the word rebarrel but what does it means exactly?
Is it the changing of an old barrel for a brand new one or the process of using the old one for a bigger caliber? Of which is the latter possible and advisable?

    Re: Rebarrel

Hi, to rebarrel for the most part, means to remove the old barrel and replace with new. you can also have your old barrel reamed out to a larger size and new rifling cut in. I beleive there are only five companies in the USA. that will do this and they charge around $120. I hope this helps
without God their is no hope for this country
